The Zoom system uses prescription strengthen whitening gel that our hygienist can apply directly to your teeth. We’ll start by cleaning your teeth to remove any tartar or bacteria buildup, then apply protective barriers to your gums to protect them from the gel. Then we will use a brush to spread the gel evenly over your teeth and a special light to activate the peroxide for faster results. After about 15 minutes, we will evaluate your progress and apply more gel as needed. Zoom sessions typically last about 2 hours, but the results can last for months with proper care.
Professional grade treatments at your convenience
For patients who want to treat their staining at home when it’s more convenient or want to help maintain their zoom session results, we offer home whitening treatments to help. We can either craft you a custom-fitted treatment tray and provide you with the Zoom whitening gel, or offer Opalescence Go-Trays. This set of 10 prefabricated upper and lower trays are intended for single uses, which makes them perfect for traveling. You’ll simply wear the trays daily for about an hour during your initial treatment and as needed for maintenance.
